British Churchill fan wins bid for his dentures
To George Ridgeon, having Winston Churchill's gold dentures is worth 15,000 pounds. Ridgeon, who resides in Churchdown, Gloucestershire, recently won an auction to win the former prime minister's teeth.
"Churchill is definitely one of my heroes,” said Mr Ridgeon, a former firefighter and a member of the Churchill Society in an interview with EDP24, a British newspaper.
“I was a war baby - I've still got my baby's gas mask. If it hadn't been for Churchill we would all have been speaking German now. I thought the teeth went well with the microphone - they're what he used to talk with and they were made to preserve his famous lisp,” Ridgeon said in the newspaper story.

P.S. we couldn't help but notice that if you look at most of Sir Winston's photos, he never truly shows his smile. Had he worked with us, we know that he would want to show his pearly whites off.

NeXsmile's technology helps those address bad teeth replacement
As children, when we lost a tooth, it was a great day. We knew that if we lost one of our baby teeth that our parents would deposit some money under our pillow.
Yet, as many of us blow off 70 or more candles at our next birthday, we are also facing the realty of tooth loss. And, there is no tooth fairy in our future.
For many, it means that we will have to go to our local dentist for advice and assistance. Government research from the Department of Health and Human Services estimates that one million Americans will lose all of their teeth this year.
Fortunately, teeth replacement options have changed significantly. Dr. Stephen Schmitt and Dr. Ben Young have designed a a revolutionary three-dimensional X-ray solution to capture an image to create the best replacement processes for failing teeth.
Using their experience as Air Force dentists, the two San Antonio-based doctors have created a way to fully capture the landscape of each of their patient's mouth. Their patent-pending processes avoid the scatter of traditional Xrays from a person's mouth.
If a dentist uses that old process, they have to guess where to place dentures and bridges as the Xrays don't show every person's mouth clearly. Now, with NeXsmile, the guesswork has been removed from the design phase of bad teeth replacement with 21st century technology.
